Open the link in Safari
Go to app.alphagalonly.com in Safari, the browser with the compass icon. It must be Safari for the next step to appear.
Tap the Share button
It's the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen. On iPad it's at the top.
Choose Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list of options if you don't see it right away.
Tap Add
The Alpha Gal Only icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the app full screen.
Common questions
How much does it cost?
Two plans, paid at join.alphagalonly.com. Basic Access is US$5.99 a month and includes the three cookbooks, the food journal, the allergy card, and the community boards. Full Membership is US$14.99 a month and adds making friends, dating, matches, messaging, and EZ Meet.
Is it just for dating?
No. Basic Access is all about food and safety. Full Membership adds the people side, and you choose "new friends," "dating," or both on your profile.
Does it work outside the United States?
Yes. Made in the USA for English speakers everywhere alpha-gal is found. Pick your country; Discover, EZ Meet, recipes, and the allergy card all follow.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrade to Full Membership at join.alphagalonly.com using the same email you use in the app, then log out and back in.
Why is the app asking where I was bitten?
It's optional and goes on the Alpha Gal Map as one more dot for your country and region. Towns and postcodes are never shown unless three or more members share one.
